Fantastic $30 Cartography Software Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop GM's Dream

After a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection has returned with an encore available until Dec. 2. Described as a "treasure trove of assets and apps" created by ProFantasy Software over the years, the entire collection is valued at over $1,300. Additionally, there exist multiple package options offered in this deal.

Primary Feature

The standout feature is definitely a lifetime license for Campaign Cartographer 3+, an industry-standard cartography program that can be used to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.

Package Levels

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, at a minimum cost of $1, features merely four of the 39 total items: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, and Source Maps: Cities!. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen aerial castle designs with 470 associated map tokens, eight complete urban centers, and more than 70 urban floorplans.

Mid-Range Option

The eight-product collection for at least $15 offers enhanced value by adding in a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service which includes multiple CC3+ enhancements like map collections and additional utilities. The Isometric Cities enables display cities with an extra dimension using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

Every volume from the Annual series are included here, plus numerous other resource and asset packs that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or just go all-in on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, underground complexes, urban centers, and land masses in multiple viewpoints. Users can also create character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the full bundle is so worth it, particularly for mappers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to help you get started. The one caveat here though the purchase is available on any platform, the software is only usable on Windows.
