In a unexpected collaboration that challenges usual predictions, the game developer has unveiled an virtual partnership between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event runs from November 25 through December 22, offering no-cost additional story content for Shadows players.

According to the formal announcement, "A mysterious meeting draws heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a original adventure, where hints of forbidden practices and monstrous metamorphoses resonate through the shadows." The plot introduces a "oddly dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a key location from Attack on Titan—to liberate her friend from a clandestine sect.
The mission concentrates on "peculiar experiments and a fearsome foe" and is accessible to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Iconic Settings and Changes
The trailer showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview concludes with a powerful sequence showing a character, likely the hostage, transforming into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Extra Content
Players who finish the quest will obtain an exclusive katana together with multiple items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also includes purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:
